from our trip to visit the grandparents, a delightful detour to the virginia living museum:

fish and turtles and crocs, oh my!
(and i don't mean the shoes)

look at what sharp teeth you have!

girl power: mommy and her bestest friend in the whole world,
auntie becky, with daughter victoria

well... i guess if our mommies are friends...
you're pretty cool too
someone is refusing to nap today, courtesy the booming thunder outside; good thing daddy's around to help entertain her while i work. looks like i'll be headed back into the office soon for a few hours each week. business dress in the humid heat of summer, how peachy. sigh.

Love watching Emmy discover all these things in your pictures! Skulls, flowers, friends... Just beautiful!
That looks like a fun museum. I love the picture of the girls holding hands.
Man, I wish my best friend had a daughter close to LN's age! Wait, I wish my best friend lived in the same country... :-(
Looks like a lot of fun! I love Emmy's expression with the skull... "huh? what's this thing?"
This is kray-jee! Your first pic caption - I was also JUST about to post something with a similar title (about going to the zoo)! I swear, I am not copy-catting!
Yay for ching-goos, old and new! I love the holding hands.
Great minds think alike, Carol. ;-) Or... maybe since T and Emmy are sooo close in age, we're hitting all the same milestones (and captions!) at the same time!
very cute best friends pic of all four of you. hey, in certain pictures, you remind me of neve campbell in a good way. :)
Sweet pictures of Emmy. That's so nice your best friend has a child close in age to Emmy. My best friend's daughter and my son are a year apart and the best of friends, it's so sweet to see them together and it makes get togethers so much fun.
Hey Kim~~
Hubby and I are headed to Virginia on Monday (7/2). We're going to Richmond to check out the area. How far is it from Richmond to Annandale? I don't think we'll make it up there, but we're so dying to and I know you're right near there. :)
oh, that photo of emmy holding victoria's hand is just precious! how perfect for a photo of you w/ your best friend!
You're a mommy after my own heart. Museums and Zoos are our favorite activities too. Emmy is so lucky to have your friend's baby so close in age. Evie and Sweet Pea are surrounded by kids who are much older or much younger than them.
