day 30: that's all she wrote

tis the final day of november... the final day of this NaBloPoMo experiment. i figured i would have given up within the first week or so but i've survived. sure, some (many) of my posts were pretty lame but i made myself reconnect day after day. it was a fun ride and now i'll be hibernating for a bit to shake this nasty cold bug that i picked up last weekend.

for all those that are interested, an end of the month update of sorts...
- my maternity wardrobe still sucks but i don't care anymore. i have only about 10 weeks to go so heck, bring on the burlap sack.
- we still think way too much about toddler toys and free stuff.
- MANY stuffed animals in northern virginia have been christened "bo bice" this month.
- emmy had the most rockin' birthday ever. and i could spend my nights with a bowl of icing, food coloring and other yummy goodness.
- mr. onk, the imaginary elephant, has been replaced by much talk of these stinky barn gnomes. now they are literate and spend their days reading books.
- random pom-pom #5 has been identified as a... penguin. i think emmy believes that ALL pom critters are penguins.
- memes make for easy blog fodder when the rest of your brain is just a shriveled up (or knocked up?) walnut.

time to dive back into that strawberry-rhubarb pie i bought today and hit the sack. hope you all survived the month too.

p.s. - don't forget to break open your advent calendars tomorrow! yum! (seriously, how have i not gained like, 50 pounds by now?)

Congrats on the experiment! Seriously, I don't know how anyone can write everyday. It's admirable.

Emmy has the most creative imagination! I mean -- Bo Bice? That is still cracking me up.

woohoo! You did it! Bo Bice... that's some American Idol guy, right? (I'm so sadly out of pop culture)

I freakin' love the barn gnomes. I'd like one for Christmas, please.
